Chef Ginger adheres to a strict but sim- ple culinary philosophy at Taste: quality is key. “Use quality fresh ingredients and you improve your overall product. We use fresh ingredients and make everything in house, including our seasonings,” says Chef. “Bal- ance and flavor are important throughout the creation of a dish. If your base ingre- dients don’t taste right, nothing will.” Fresh, quality ingredients would be rea- son enough to try Taste but it boasts other unique offerings as well. Part of Mr. Hahn’s vision for Taste was to incorporate wine flights — something unique to the Mont- gomery area. “Wine flights consist of 2-ounce pours of three different wines. We have a variety of flights from the ‘Tiny Bubbles’ (Cham- pagne) flight to our most recent addition, ‘Name That Wine!.’ This flight consists of three red wines that the customer can drink and ‘guess’ what the varietal is.” Another great way to enjoy the atmos- phere and flavor of Taste is to schedule your special event, “Christmas Parties, birthday parties, any celebration you can think of we will accommodate. We allow for both locations to be rented out for the evening for private events or you can re- serve space in the restaurant while we are open to the public.” As 2020 is quickly coming to a close, Clint and Ginger are staying positive for the New Year, “We hope things will be mov- ing toward normalizing & mandates lifted to allow us to serve more people in our community. We are constantly changing our menu and anticipate delicious new dishes throughout 2021.” Whether you are new or already a regular at Taste, you can rest assured that some things at Taste won’t change in 2021.
