Admission to the fair will be free from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for children and adults. Grand Opening Ceremony for the Lee County Fair is at 5:00 p.m. The Miss Lee County Fair: Fairest of the Fair Pageant will begin at 7:00 p.m. under the big tent. In the livestock arena starting at 6:30 p.m., there will be the statewide lamb show. Faulkner University’s Annual Benefit Din- ner is a longstanding tradition and a red-letter event on the social calendar every year for Montgomery and the River Region. The Benefit Dinner will be hosted at the Renaissance Hotel and Con- vention Center on October 4. Blair will bring his broad local appeal and international experience on current issues to the River Region for what will be an exciting night. Blair served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1997 to 2007, becoming the only Labor leader in the party’s 100-year history to win three consecutive elections.
