… But knowing Jane, I agreed.” Turner wanted it to be very special. She then went on her cruise in October with no worry of how it would turn out. Ward told us that Turner is a wonderful client. “Lynda loves el- egant whimsical things that make her home so beautiful,” she said “I wanted to do something dramatic that would reflect her per- sonality. I knew if I could do that it would be a success.” When Turner returned from her cruise, she got home after mid- night. Being exhausted from her trip, she thought she would go on to bed but when she started clicking the timers that Ward had told her about, she was in such awe that she could not stop until she had gone through every room of the house. “I felt like I was in a Wonderland,” she said. Before the coffee, Turner went shopping in Atlanta in November and found a rug she wanted for the living room. That was a prob- lem because there was a 9-foot Christmas tree on an existing rug in the room. “When I told Jane that I really wanted the rug, but the tree was already decorated, she answered, “That is no problem. We will move the tree.” While she was away for Thanksgiving, Ward and her teammoved the decorated tree to put the new rug down and then put the tree back on the new rug, in plenty of time for the coffee. “Not one or- nament was broken!” Turner said. Because her home was so beautifully decorated, Turner decided to host several events last year, including the coffee. On one occa- sion she invited friends who brought their children and grand- children. She asked one quiet little boy what he thought about the lighted angel in the bathtub. His response was unforgettable. He told her, “I don’t think you are going to be able to take a bath.” 48 AL/ Metro 360 www.almetro360.com
