O RANGE R OLLS I NGREDIENTS : Rolls 1 cup warm water 1 Tablespoon yeast 1 Tablespoon organic sugar 1 Tablespoon oil 1 teaspoon salt 2 1/2 to 3 cups flour F ILLING 3 Tablespoon melted vegan butter 1 Tablespoon orange zest 1/3 cup organic sugar G LAZE : 2 cups organic powdered sugar 3 Tablespoons orange juice 2 Tablespoons melted vegan butter 1. Combine warm water, yeast, and sugar in a mixing bowl and let sit for 3-4 minutes until yeast is bubbling up. 2. Add oil, salt, and 2-1/2 cups flour to the yeast mixture. Use a mixer with a dough hook to combine. Add more flour as needed until the dough cleans the sides of the bowl. Then continue kneading in mixer for 3-4 minutes. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit in a warm place for 15 minutes. 3. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. 4. Stir orange zest and 1/3 cup sugar in a small bowl. Melt 3 Ta- blespoons butter alternative in another small bowl. 5. Spray countertop with non-stick spray and roll the dough out into a large rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. 6. Brush with melted butter substitute. Spread orange zest and sugar mixture on the dough. 7. Starting with one of the long sides of the rectangle, roll the dough up tightly. Pinch the seams closed at the end. 8. Cut the dough in half. Then cut each half in half so you have 4 equal pieces. Then cut each of the fourths into 3 pieces for a total of 12 rolls. 9. Set the rolls in a 9x13 pan and bake for 12-14 minutes. 10. Whisk together powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons melted butter substitute, and orange juice. Spread over the warm rolls.
