Mr. and Mrs. Frazier Hall of Pike Road, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Young of Powder Springs, Ga., Mr. and Mrs. Davis Prince of Sugar Hill, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. Scott Bell of Pike Road. Every circus has a strongman that performs amaz- ing feats of strength and there was no shortage of that at this event, as the men of La Fete were intro- duced to the crowd; and still a vital part of the most incredible show on earth, the past Queens of La Fete and honorary members were recognized, even though they have hung up their sparkly costumes and danc- ing shoes. A crowd favorite each year is the evening’s tableau featuring choreography by the ladies of La Fete. This year, each dance group was inspired by a different aspect of the circus: Tight Rope Walkers, Ringmasters and Trapeze Artists. The tableau featured an opening number this year set to the “The Greatest Show” by The Greatest Showman cast and the finale of the evening was set to “Come Alive,” also by The Greatest Showman cast. The true ringmaster to this circus was the 2019 Queen of La Fete. She stunned the crowd in a beau- tiful two-toned gown with an ivory bodice and a red satin skirt. The bodice included sparkly silver bead- work. She finished the look with a shiny silver mask. Guests enjoyed dancing the night away to the sounds of Fly By Radio amidst the circus decor on the dance floor. It truly was a night to remember. 56 AL/ Metro 360 www.almetro360.com
