Tammy Griffin Pye Bar & Tammy’s Market Growing up Tammy spent a great deal of time in both her father and grandfa- ther’s restaurants in Union Springs. Having learned much about southern cooking from the restaurant kitchens and cookbooks, Tammy basically taught herself everything else she needed to know about cooking. Since opening her catering business in 1994, Tammy has been pleasing clients’ taste buds. In addition to her love of food and cooking, Tammy uses her talents to create the perfect atmosphere and ta- blescapes for private parties including weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners and corporate events. A Catered Affair has been one of the River Region’s top family-owned and op- erated catering companies for more than 20 years. “I enjoy preparing food to share with family and friends,” says Tammy. Her combination of culinary creativity and down to earth style is the reason so many choose her as their caterer. A Catered Affair’s goal is to present culi- nary delights that every guest will enjoy and remember long after the event. She knows the importance of having a de- pendable staff to be successful in this re- warding but demanding business. Tammy also is known for being ex- tremely flexible to fit the menu specifica- tions and catering needs of any event. The menu options are extensive and var- ied. But, if you cannot find an option that works for your event she will be happy to work with you to create the perfect meal choices. Whether the event is casual or formal, large or small, you can expect to enjoy an experience that will exceed your expectations. It’s no wonder Tammy has been the Reader’s Choice Award winner for Best Caterer a record five times since 2012. Now happening in Pike Road, Tammy and her daughter, Jessica, are opening a new restaurant called Pye Bar & Tammy’s Market. “We will have lunch, dinner, beer- on-tap, gifts, wine, meat and frozen casseroles,” says Tammy. There will also be a cold case with dips, cheeses, salads, sweet and savory pies for patrons to take home for on-the-go fam- ily meals. Both the Pye Bar & Tammy’s Market will be open with regular busi- ness hours starting June 5. Tammy and Jessica look forward to seeing you then... with delicious foods and drinks includ- ing great beers on tap. 30 RIVER REGION LIVING www.riverregionliving.com 9559 Vaughn Road | Pike Road, AL 36064 Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. | Thursday & Friday: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. Once a month: Second Saturday Brunch: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. starting in July.
