ALABAMA RIVER REGION BALLET SCHOOL AND YOUTH COMPANY Alabama River Region Ballet School and Youth Company, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, is now in its 6th season as the pre- miere professional ballet school of the River Region. The school offers classes for ages 3 to 18 years in Creative Movement, Classical Ballet Technique for Pre-Ballet to Advanced levels, Pre-Pointe to Advanced Pointe, Classical Variations, and Beginning Jazz to Ad- vanced Jazz. Registration is now open for fall 2018 classes, which begin August 6th, and record enrollment is expected again this year! Located in the beautiful Festival Plaza Shopping Center, ARRB has three full sized ballet studios to accommodate its ever growing school! ARRB is currently preparing for its Summer Intensive Seminar July 9th – 20th, giving intermediate to advanced students the op- portunity to take a variety of classes from some extremely talented guest artists and teachers. A free in-studio performance will be held July 20th at 6:30pm. On November 30th & December 2nd ARRB will present its 4th Annual “The Great Montgomery Nutcracker”, at the Davis The- atre. In addition to the Friday night show and Sunday matinee, there will also be a special performance for area homeschoolers on Friday at 10am. Last year’s performances were so successful that a near sell out is expected this year. Tickets will go on sale soon, so check the ARRB website for updates. Alabama River Region Ballet has had extraordinary growth and success thus far, and is looking forward to an exciting new season!
