Social distancing guidelines and hand washing protocols will be on the top of parent’s and teacher’s minds alike. Young children may have more chal- lenges adhering to these new guidelines than their older peers, but there are ways to start preparing them now. Teach them how to properly wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Singing “Happy Birthday” twice can help them remember this 20 second rule.
